✅ What EMS can do
EMS is used clinically in physical therapy to prevent muscle atrophy in patients recovering from injuries or surgery.
Some athletes use EMS to increase endurance or promote recovery. Used in conjunction with regular training, it helps improve muscle condition.
Low-frequency EMS can increase blood circulation and reduce post-workout soreness (DOMS).
❌ What EMS Can't Do Alone
EMS is not an effective way to burn fat. It stimulates muscle, but it is not a replacement for aerobic exercise or diet.
EMS by itself is not a replacement for resistance training. If you're completely sedentary, it may increase strength or tone slightly, but not enough to significantly increase muscle.
