HOW DOES EMS TRAINING WORK?

During traditional strength training the brain sends impulses which stimulate certain muscles to contract. However, not all muscles have a well-developed connection to the brain and these muscles are not activated as easily and therefore they will not develop so well.

EMS System Training stimulates all the major muscle groups and also helps to develop the motoric nerve connections relating to muscle movement. By sending electric impulses directly to these motoric nerves, even the weakly connected muscles are activated.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation uses this natural principle to reach the deepest muscular layers which are hard to activate through common training. This is possible thanks to the EMS Training suit, a special training Biosuit that provides additional stimulus to the muscle from the outside.

FAQ

Will my muscles be stiff after the workout?

Muscle stiffness is the worst after the first workout session as EMS works on deep muscles that are hard to reach through normal training. However this will gradually disappear with regular training sessions. Muscle stiffness can last 2 to 3 days after the session and persists for a longer time than after a normal workout session.

Do not be tempter to over do it.

Read the user manual and follow the instructions. Beginners should use low intensity (e.g 15%) for several weeks at first and not use the suit for more than 2-3x weekly at 20 minutes each time. Overtraining with EMS, just like overtraining with conventional methods, can cause biochemical byproducts of muscle breakdown in the bloodstream such as myoglobin and creatinine which are a burden for the kidneys to detoxify. As with everything, safety first. Drink plenty of water and give your muscles a chance to rest between workouts.

How many electrodes are in the suit and where are they placed?

There are 20 electrodes, i.e. 10 pairs of electrodes sewn into the suit, which can be controlled individually;

Placement: biceps, triceps, chest, upper back, middle back, lower back, buttocks, abdomen, front thighs, and rear thighs.
